At Grove + Garden, we're passionate about bringing people together through the joy of delicious, ingredient-conscious food. Our mission is to create simple, plant-based products that taste amazing and elevate everyday meals and snacks. OUR STORY
Grove + Garden is a plant-based food company, founded in 2025 by two friends, Megan Hughes and Sara Knutson. Our journey began in 2016 as co-workers with a shared love for cooking and exploring new flavors. Sara, being gluten and dairy-free, was often experimenting with different ingredients and modifying recipes to fit her diet. It was on that quest to create something unique and indulgent-tasting that pistachio pesto, Grove + Garden’s hero product was born. After countless trials and creative pairings, we discovered the magic and versatility of pistachio pesto. This vibrant and rich sauce quickly became a staple in our families’ meals and something we found ourselves making often to share with family and friends. With limited, convenient, plant-based options in-stores we knew we had something we couldn’t keep to ourselves. Afterall, we’re not the traditional “Italian grandmother” shelf-stable, pine nut and parmesan based pesto.
